Lakeland Paws is organised by Green Space Events Ltd. which was founded in 2018. Our first series of events in Cumbria started in Oct 2022 with at least 9 events per series. Previously, the company has organised a series of canicross events in Cambridgeshire offering 5 and 10k routes called “Run Your Paws Off’. Green Space Events also organised ‘Wimpole 24’.
Green Space is owned by Debs White, now relocated to Cumbria, who has worked on numerous different multi-day ultra events such as The Dragon’s Back Race, Cape Wrath Ultra, Great Lakeland 3 Day, Skyline Scotland and The Spine (as well as competing in many herself), was the Race Director for SheRaces in 2025, is a run leader for Keswick Athletics Club, was an Event Director for Wimpole parkrun for over 3 years with around 350 runners per week and has supported many elite athletes on routes such as The Bob Graham Round, The Steve Parr Round, The Wainwright Round, The Coast to Coast and The Pennine Way.
