This is a new route for this season, due to harvesting on the North side of the forest. We’ll be heading out on the trails on the South Side of the forest and offering a 5k or 10k route. There is still some significant ascent, but nothing as technical as our downhill from Seat How, due to that you can run with two dogs on this route.
We are still on a mix of trails and forest roads and with the same stunning scenery that Whinlatter has to offer. The 10k route has 400m of ascent, but not all in one go! Our 5K route has 200m of ascent.
